Transformer Oil:

Zangan Industrial Oil Re­fining Co. was founded in 2006 aiming at manufacturing insulating oil for transformer industries with current capacity of more than 12000 tons per year which can be increased to 16000 tons per year.

Transformer Oil Functions and General Requirements:

• Electrical insulation
• Information carrier

Also there are several secondary function/properties expected from transformer oil such as compatibility with other equipment, materials, ageing stability and so on. Furthermore transformer oil should fulfill all requirements of health, safety and environmental legislations.
