Normally a power transformer is the largest and heaviest device in the substation, so when we are speaking about a mobile substation, it requires special design and manufacturing techniques in order to reduce total weight and dimensions of the power transformer. By the way there will be serious limitation in manufacturing mobile transformers according to traffic and transportation rules.

Rectifiers Transformers
Rectifier Transformers as a suitable power source for semi conductor rectifier circuits are used mostly in electrolysis industries and metal production factories such as aluminum and copper etc.
Iran Transfo is capable of manufacturing all kinds of rectifiers for 6 phase and 12 pulses applications and also all other complicated designs. Low voltage side’s high current impacts and currents harmonic will be included in designing and manufacturing process.
Series Reactors
Series reactors are mostly used to limit the current and to increase the impedance of the network. Iran Transfo is ready to supply its customers with different oil immersed series reactor (with or without tap changer).

Shunt Reactors
Iran Transfo group can manufacture shunt reactors. These devices could be connected directly to network or through tertiary winding of power transformers that could be useful in switching mode or steady state mode.
